Maple Buzz Café is the latest addition to the vibrant town of De Pere, located at the intersection of Allouez and De Pere. Nestled in the former Zesty’s Frozen Custard space at 3718 Riverside Dr., the café is a passion project for mother-daughter duo Theresa and Alicia Baroun, who also run a thriving maple syrup and honey business. The café was born out of their desire to showcase their products and offer a new dining experience.
The owners are dedicated to providing top-notch service and high-quality products that are incorporated into many menu items. In addition to serving breakfast and lunch options such as sandwiches, wraps, salads, and soups, Maple Buzz Café also features an array of coffee, juice, and ice cream options. They plan to introduce special coffee and smoothie offerings in the near future, including their popular Honey, Maple, and Bourbon coffee made in collaboration with Village Roasters.
To prepare for the café’s opening, the owners undertook renovations including painting and electrical work. They are currently hiring employees with a particular need for year-round staff. Interested applicants can apply on the café’s website.
Maple Buzz Café is open Tuesday through Friday from 6am to 4pm and Saturdays from 7am to 12pm. For more information or to schedule an interview with owner Theresa Baroun or her daughter Alicia Baroun please contact Ariel Perez at APerez1@gannett.com or on Twitter @Ariel_Perez85
