The collaboration between the Trump Organization and Dar Global, the international branch of Saudi developer Dar Al Arkan, will result in the first venture of the Trump company in Saudi Arabia. Ziad El Chaar, CEO of Dar Global, expressed excitement about the agreement stating that it will attract more international investors and vacationers to the region.
In addition to this project, Saudi Arabia is also working on other luxury projects as well, including resorts along the Red Sea. Sindalah is one such island resort geared towards luxury clientele and is expected to set a new standard for luxury travel and living when it opens by the end of the year. This move by Saudi Arabia is aimed at appealing to the luxury international market and setting itself apart from neighboring Dubai.
