Santa Ana and Anaheim Restaurants Shut Down Due to Health Violations, Reopen After Taking Action

This week, Orange County health inspectors conducted a series of inspections and ordered the closure of several restaurants and food vendors due to health violations. One of the establishments that were shut down was Pad Thai, located at 12620 Westminster Ave., Suite A in Santa Ana. The restaurant closed on April 24 after health officials discovered a rodent infestation. However, Pad Thai was able to reopen on April 25 after taking the necessary steps to resolve the issue.

Another restaurant that faced closure was Pepz Pizza & Eatery at 646 S. Brookhurst St. in Anaheim. The establishment was shut down on April 24 for a cockroach infestation. Surprisingly, Pepz Pizza & Eatery was allowed to reopen on the same day after taking immediate action to eliminate the problem.

In addition to these two closures, Nutricion Poderosa at 932 S. Euclid St. in Anaheim also faced closure last week due to a cockroach infestation. However, the restaurant was permitted to reopen on April 19 after resolving the issue with health officials. These closures and reopenings are tracked weekly by the OC Health Care Agency to ensure that all establishments adhere to health and safety standards and provide a safe environment for customers.
