On Saturday, April 27th, from 10 AM to 12 PM, the Bladen County Health and Human Services agency is hosting a community-focused Medication Take Back event at Anderson’s Drug Store. The goal of this initiative is to safely dispose of unused or expired medications, which helps prevent drug misuse and protects the environment.
Vicky Graham, a Health Educator II at the agency, confirmed that the event will take place at Anderson’s Drug Store, located at 206 S. Poplar St in Elizabethtown, NC 28337. Residents are encouraged to bring their unwanted medications to Anderson Drugs, where they will be safely disposed of free of charge.
The event details provide a safe and convenient way for individuals to get rid of prescription drugs while also educating the community on the potential for medication abuse. Everyone is welcome to participate in this event and contribute to making their community a safer place.
