Over the past week, the Liberty won three out of four games, with Ionescu averaging 25 points, 9.3 assists, and 4.7 rebounds per game while shooting 47.3 percent from the field. She topped the league in points and assists during this time. However, their recent game against the Minnesota Lynx in the WNBA Comminsor’s Cup Championship resulted in a 94-89 loss for New York, making Minnesota the In-Season Tournament Champs and earning them $500,000 in prize money.
