Rutgers football kicked off their official visit weekend with a commitment from Miron Gurman on Saturday afternoon. The three-star defensive lineman from Spencerport High School in New York is 6-foot-6 and weighs 255 pounds, and holds offers from schools such as Buffalo, UConn, and Toledo.
With Gurman’s commitment, Rutgers now has nine players locked in for their 2025 class. He joins fellow defensive lineman Jyon Simon, a three-star prospect from Florida who also holds offers from schools like Texas, Tennessee, and USC.
Gurman took to social media to announce his commitment to Rutgers, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to make his dreams a reality. This commitment follows last year’s successful recruitment of four-star wide receiver K.J. Duff, New York’s top recruit. Rutgers continues to make a strong impression on Empire State prospects.
