Three-star commit Renick Dorilas to visit Rutgers football team

Renick ‘Stretch’ Dorilas, a top-ranked defensive back, is set to embark on an official visit to Rutgers football this weekend. He made the commitment to Rutgers in March after considering other top schools such as Tennessee, Penn State, Syracuse, and West Virginia. Recently, he received an offer from Miami as well.

According to Rivals, Dorilas is recognized as the No. 22 cornerback in the nation and ranked among the top 10 players in New Jersey’s class of 2025. To announce his upcoming official visit, Dorilas took to social media and shared his excitement for the visit scheduled from May 31st to June 2nd.

Last season, Dorilas showed his skills on the field by recording 40 tackles, including two tackles for a loss. He also had two interceptions and defended four passes while playing for Union in New Jersey. This weekend not only marks Dorilas’ official visit to Rutgers but also the beginning of official visits for Rutgers football in general. In addition to Dorilas, four-star offensive tackle Jaelyne Matthews also announced that he will be taking an official visit to the Big Ten program. It will be an exciting weekend for the Rutgers football program as they look to connect with potential recruits and continue building their team.
