Rutgers Football Extends Offer to Prospective Linebacker Bradley Gompers: The latest recruitment updates and behind-the-scenes look at the Big Ten team’s recruiting process.

Rutgers football makes the cut in Bradley Gompers’ top seven ranking

In late February, Rutgers football offered Bradley Gompers, a linebacker from Pennsylvania, adding him to his list of Power Five schools of interest. Standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing 200 pounds, Gompers plays for Central Catholic in Pittsburgh. Despite a season plagued by injuries, Gompers ended on a high note with an impressive performance in the WPIAL Championship, recording 16 total tackles and a fumble recovery. Central Catholic finished the season 10-2.

Gompers’ final seven schools of interest include Duke, Maryland, Michigan State, Northwestern, Pittsburgh, Rutgers and West Virginia. The announcement of Gompers’ recruitment cutdown was made on his social media account, thanking all the schools that have recruited him. Rutgers football already has eight recruits committed for the 2025 recruiting class, with four-star linebacker Talibi Kaba being one of the early commitments. Gompers visited Rutgers on an unofficial visit in mid-April.
