Over 100 Ukrainian Drones Intercepted by Russian Ministry of Defense in a Single Night

On May 17th, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that Ukrainian military drones were intercepted in four Russian regions. The total number of drones intercepted was 102, with 51 UAVs over Crimea, 44 over Krasnodar Territory, 6 over Belgorod Region, and 1 over Kursk Region. In addition to this, naval aviation and patrol boats of the Black Sea Fleet destroyed six unmanned boats in the Black Sea.

Meanwhile, Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev stated that a night air attack damaged the city’s electrical substation. This led to the cancellation of classes in schools, secondary education institutions, and kindergartens in the city. According to Razvozhaev, it was expected that restoration of the substation would take around a day.
