In the northeast, Russian forces have launched fresh attacks on Ukrainian positions, targeting the Kupiansk and Lyman fronts 30 and 5 times respectively. Central eastern areas have seen another 109 attempts to break through Ukrainian defenses across multiple fronts. To the south, Russian soldiers continue to try and drive Ukrainian forces from the east bank of the Dnipro River.

Recent updates from governors in major Ukrainian regions on the front line reveal that Russian artillery shelled the Nikopol region in Dnipropetrovsk, resulting in no casualties. In Kharkiv, rocket fire hit a five-storey building, farm, and doctor’s surgery, killing one person and injuring nine others. Ukrainian troops repelled four Russian attacks from the border area where Moscow launched a fresh incursion on Friday. In Kherson, residential areas including high-rise buildings were targeted, resulting in 19 people being injured. In Donetsk, attacks on Novogrodivska resulted in two fatalities with houses damaged or destroyed in the Kramatorsk district. In Bakhmut and Toretsk, 28 houses and three high-rise buildings were damaged. In Zaporizhzhia, Russian forces attacked near Robotyne four times but no positions were lost according to a spokesman for the Tavriia operational strategic group.
