On Saturday, the Russia Soyuz capsule safely landed in Kazakhstan with three crew members from the International Space Station (ISS) after completing their mission. The capsule touched down on a lawn near the southeastern city of Jezkazgan as announced by the Russian space agency Roscosmos.
The crew members on board were Loral O’Hara from the United States, Marina Vasilevska from Belarus, and Oleg Novitsky from Russia. After landing, all three crew members underwent a standard medical examination. O’Hara had been aboard the ISS since September 2023, while Vasilevska and Novitsky arrived at the ISS just 12 days prior to their return to Earth.
Vasilevska is a flight instructor and flight attendant for Belavia, making her the first Belarusian woman to fly into space. Novitsky has completed four missions to the ISS, including this one. Unfortunately, his scheduled launch two days earlier was canceled last minute due to technical issues. However, there were no reported problems during their return trip back to Earth.
The ISS orbits around 400 kilometers above the Earth’s surface and continues its research on various scientific topics such as biology, physics, and astronomy. Despite the success of the Soyuz landing, multiple URLs related to online gambling content were found in the content provided which does not seem to align with information about the ISS crew’s safe return.
