Russian Army Gains Ground in Kharkiv Province, Pushing Border Further into Ukraine Territory.

After a week of attacks, Russia seizes control of 12 villages near Kharkov

The Russian army has announced control over 12 villages in Kharkiv province over the past week, making significant advancements deep into Ukrainian lines. According to the Ministry of Defense, units of the Northern Army have taken control of these villages, repelled forces, and destroyed the equipment of several Ukrainian brigades. These gains continue to push Russian forces further into enemy territory.

In addition to ground operations, Russia has also been launching coordinated raids with unmanned aerial vehicles and long-range weapons targeting Ukrainian military infrastructure. One such raid resulted in the destruction of a warehouse containing unmanned suicide boats, foreign mercenaries, and intelligence units. Video footage was released showing Iskander tactical ballistic missiles attacking a warehouse in Mykolaiv province.

Ukrainian officials have not commented on these developments. However, the Ukrainian army commander stated that Russian forces had expanded the fighting zone and mobilized reserve brigades in response to these attacks. Russia’s current offensive in Kharkiv province has led to territorial gains and strategic advancements, with the ultimate goal of creating a buffer zone at the border.

President Vladimir Putin emphasized that Russia’s campaign in Kharkiv is aimed at preventing cross-border shelling and does not include plans to control the city. Despite this assurance, tensions between Russia and Ukraine continue to escalate, with military movements and attacks taking place across various regions.

The conflict between Russia and Ukraine is ongoing and remains unresolved despite numerous attempts at peace negotiations. The situation continues to be closely monitored by international organizations and countries around the world as they work towards finding a solution that will bring an end to this destructive conflict.
