Russia Links Ukrainian Nationalists to Moscow Concert Hall Attack, U.S. Condemns Propaganda Claims”.

Moscow attackers allegedly funded by Ukraine, White House dismisses claims as baseless

Russia’s Investigative Committee has announced evidence linking the gunmen responsible for the deadly attack on a concert hall in Moscow, resulting in over 140 deaths, to Ukrainian nationalists. The committee also arrested another suspect who was allegedly involved in financing terrorists.

The White House has condemned Russia’s attempts to connect Ukraine to the attack, calling it propaganda. However, the Justice Department has ruled preventive detention for eight other suspects linked to the crime, charging them with terrorism offenses.

The attack on Crocus City Hall resulted in at least 143 deaths and over 150 people hospitalized. The suspects, including terrorists who directly participated in the attack, were arrested in the Bryansk region as they attempted to escape. Russia has acknowledged that the attack was carried out by Islamists but is still searching for a possible “Ukrainian footprint.”

Ukraine has denied any involvement in the attack and considers it an act of terrorism against Russian citizens. The investigation continues as authorities gather more evidence and detain individuals linked to the crime.
