A 35-year-old man from Dallas, Texas has announced his intention to run in the 2024 US presidential elections under the name “Literally Anybody Else.” He believes that by running as an independent candidate, he can tap into the dissatisfaction with the two main candidates, Joe Biden and Donald Trump, and offer an alternative option for voters.

In a statement to The Guardian, he expressed his belief that the American people deserve better than the current options and that there should be a chance for individuals like himself who are tired of the power held by the two main parties. By running as “Literally Anybody Else,” he hopes to convey the message that there are alternative choices beyond Biden and Trump and hopes to serve as a protest against the current political landscape.

He is currently working to collect 113,000 signatures to put his name on the ballot in Texas. However, in case this goal is not met, he is encouraging supporters to write “literally anybody else” on the ballot as a symbolic gesture. He firmly believes that America should not be forced to choose between what he describes as the “debt king” and an 81-year-old candidate.
