Rumors Swirl: Liverpool Seeking Replacement for Klopp; Trippier’s Contract at Newcastle; Zinedine Zidane Targeted by Bayern Munich

Monday’s rumors: Kovac, Gibbs-White, Edwards, Rashford, Koopmeiners, Dewsbury-Hall

Liverpool is in talks with former Bayern Munich, Monaco, and Wolfsburg coach Niko Kovac as a potential replacement for Jurgen Klopp. Meanwhile, Newcastle United has identified Morgan Gibbs-White from Nottingham Forest as a top transfer target for the summer.

Chelsea is eyeing a bid for Netherlands midfielder Teun Koopmeiners, while Tottenham is tracking Leicester City’s Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall as a potential signing. Tottenham is also interested in Italian defender Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna.

Bayern Munich has contacted Zinedine Zidane about potentially succeeding Thomas Tuchel at the end of the season. Newcastle is likely to offer Kieran Trippier a new contract, while Gabriel Heinze could join Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta’s backroom staff.

Liverpool is also interested in English winger Marcus Edwards from Sporting Lisbon for a £30m transfer fee. Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford is expected to stay at the club as Paris St-Germain has shown no interest in signing the forward. Barcelona is confident that Pau Cubarsi will sign a new contract and is working to extend Lamine Yamal’s contract amid interest from Paris St-Germain.

Everton is keen on signing Leander Dendoncker from Aston Villa, while Bryan Gil may seek a departure from Tottenham in the summer.
