Johnny Canales, a well-known TV host with over 40 years of experience, and his wife Nora have addressed rumors about his health in Corpus Christi, Texas. The couple has been hosting their show for over 25 years, with the debut of “The Johnny Canales Show” in 1983 which later became “El Show de Johnny y Nora Canales.”
Recently, local bloggers and radio stations began reporting that Johnny was seriously ill. However, on Monday morning, the Canales family posted a video on their show’s Facebook page showing Johnny, alongside Nora, wearing a Muy Grande t-shirt and a cross necklace. In the video, Johnny thanked fans for their prayers and reassured them that he was doing well.
Prior to that video, Nora and the couple’s two daughters Celeste and Miroslava also addressed fans on Facebook. Nora provided updates in both Spanish and English, clarifying that while Johnny’s health is delicate, he is stable and in good spirits. She expressed gratitude for the prayers and well wishes but also shared that the rumors were taking a toll on the family.
Nora emphasized that updates on Johnny’s health should only come from their official Facebook page “El Show de Johnny y Nora Canales.” She urged fans to disregard any rumors from other sources such as radio stations or the Corpus Christi Cronica. Her message to fans was one of appreciation for their support during this challenging time.
KRIS 6 attempted to reach out to Nora Canales for further updates on her husband’s health but has not yet received a response.
