Royal Caribbean’s Lisa Lutoff-Perlo Takes On FIFA World Cup 2026 Miami Host Committee Role

Lutoff-Perlo appointed as head of FIFA World Cup 2026 Miami Host Committee

Miami will host seven matches for the FIFA World Cup 2026, including two semifinals and the bronze final, all to be held at the Hard Rock Stadium. In preparation for this event, Royal Caribbean Group’s former Vice Chair, Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, will be working closely with FIFA World Cup 2026 Miami Host Committee Co-chairs Rodney Barreto and Beau Ferrari.

Prior to her role as vice chair of Royal Caribbean Group, Lutoff-Perlo was the president and CEO of Celebrity Cruises since 2014 and held various senior positions at both Celebrity and Royal Caribbean International. Her career at Royal Caribbean began in 1985 as a district sales manager. In a recent LinkedIn post, Lutoff-Perlo expressed her excitement at being chosen to lead this prestigious event outside of the sports world. She sees this opportunity as a significant honor and is looking forward to working with her team to facilitate collaboration between South Florida’s public and private sector leaders in preparation for welcoming over 600,000 fans and visitors during the summer of 2026.

Royal Caribbean’s partnership with Inter Miami CF, as well as Lionel Messi’s involvement with the Icon of the Seas, ties the company to the world of soccer. This collaboration is a testament to Royal Caribbean’s commitment to bringing unique experiences to its customers and expanding its reach into new markets. With her extensive experience in both the cruise industry and event planning, Lutoff-Perlo is an ideal candidate for this role and will undoubtedly make a valuable contribution to the success of FIFA World Cup 2026 in Miami.
