India’s Cricket Team Set to Compete in T20 World Cup 2024

The Indian cricket team has been announced for the T20 World Cup 2024, which will take place in June across the West Indies and USA. Rohit Sharma, who led the team to victory in the IPL 2024, has been appointed as the captain of the squad. Hardik Pandya will be his vice-captain.

Kohli, who was the leading run-scorer in IPL 2024, has also been included in the squad. Pant is making a comeback after recovering from a car accident last year and Sanju Samson has also been named in the squad. KL Rahul did not make it to the final team despite his recent form while Shubman Gill and Rinku Singh have been included as reserves.

The Indian pace attack comprises Bumrah, Siraj, and Arshdeep Singh with Khaleel Ahmed and Avesh Khan serving as reserves. The spin bowling lineup includes Patel, Jadeja, Yadav and Chahal. The Indian team aims to secure their second title by defeating Pakistan in June. They kick off their campaign against Ireland in New York with a highly anticipated clash against Pakistan scheduled on June 9th in New York.
