Students at Irving Branch Elementary School on Edwards AFB recently engaged in a hands-on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics project where they constructed, painted, and launched 12 rockets. The project provided an opportunity for students to apply the knowledge they learned in the classroom to a real-world scenario.
Throughout the project, students learned about the various components of rockets and how they function as a team. They followed detailed instructions and paid close attention to detail to ensure that their rockets were fully functional.
