Rock Solid Partnership: Comedy Dynamics Acquires First Stand-Up Special by Independent Artist Group

Independent Artist Group and Authentic Talent and Literary Management, which represents Tony Rock, has announced the acquisition of his debut special, “Rock the World,” by Comedy Dynamics. The special is set to be released later this year and was filmed at The Long Beach Laugh Factory.

In this new and humorous perspective on post-pandemic life, Tony Rock discusses various topics such as Black culture, gender, and relationships. Directed by Sam Brownfield, the project has Dana Marshall and Charleston Rock as its producers.

Tony Rock expressed his excitement about the project, stating that it has been a significant effort that he is extremely proud of. Comedy Dynamics Founder and CEO Brian Volk-Weiss shared his thrill to be working with Tony Rock on this project.

Known for his work as a comedian, actor, and producer, Tony Rock has been active in the stand-up comedy scene since the late ’90s. He is recognized as the younger brother of famous comedian Chris Rock and has appeared in various TV series and films. In addition to hosting duties for several programs, he runs the MyROCK Diabetes Foundation, a charity organization in honor of his father.

Comedy Dynamics is a prominent comedy production company that has previously worked with various well-known comedians such as Ali Wong, Tiffany Haddish, and Kevin Hart. In addition to stand-up specials, they have worked on various film and TV projects including Netflix’s Emmy-winning series “Down to Earth with Zac Efron.”
