The 69th annual Colorado Science and Engineering Fair recently welcomed participants from the Arkansas Valley Regional Fair. Among those who attended were G. Silver Murphy (8th Grade La Junta), Kellen McClure (6th Grade Rocky Ford), Terra McClure (8th Grade Rocky Ford), Julian Chapa (10th Grade La Junta), Isaiah Peralta (10th Grade La Junta), Zoey Montoya (11th Grade La Junta), Jann Angelli Bacolod (12th Grade Rocky Ford), Everett Ediger (12th Grade La Junta), and Kendyl Osborn (6th Grade La Junta). Jennifer Gardner, a 12th-grade student from Swink, was also recognized for their achievements but could not attend the fair.
The students showcased their projects and received recognition in their respective categories at the prestigious fair. Despite the challenges and obstacles they faced along the way, they displayed determination and dedication to their projects. The students represented their schools and the Arkansas Valley region at the fair, showcasing their passion for science and engineering.
