Valmet stock rises after target price increase in Stock Exchange

On Friday, the Helsinki Stock Exchange saw a gentle 0.1 percent rise, bringing the general index to 10,128 points. The most traded stocks included Nordea, which rose by 0.6 percent and In this, which increased by 0.3 percent.

In the morning, there was an increase in the target price for certain stocks. Valmet was particularly notable as it had issued a positive earnings warning the previous day and saw its share rise by 0.4 percent. This was influenced by a significant number of short-sold positions and stabilization of the operational environment in certain customer sectors such as the chemical forest industry.

Financial institutions also raised Valmet’s target price, with Inderes increasing it from EUR 29.00 to EUR 28.00 while keeping the recommendation unchanged; OP increased it to EUR 30.00 from EUR 28.50 while keeping the recommendation same; and Nordea raised it to EUR 32.00 from EUR 29
