Riot Games has announced the Cosplay Grand Tour by Riot Games 2024, an initiative aimed at engaging the Italian cosplayer community and fans of Riot games. The tour will make stops at major Italian festivals dedicated to pop culture, each with its own theme, but participants are free to choose their costumes. All cosplay categories related to Riot Games, including original interpretations of characters and alternate skins, are welcome. Registration is free and open to all, with pre-registration required online before confirming on-site at the event.
A significant addition to the tour is Taryn, an ambassador known for her connection to the Riot Games universe. The tour will be coordinated by CLIC (Community of League of Legends Italian Cosplayers) and presented by Icon Stitch, a renowned cosplayer. The jury for each stage will consist of Riot Games personalities and professional cosplayers, judging participants in various categories. Winners will receive professional photos and prizes.
The tour kicks off on April 28, 2024, at Napoli Comicon, featuring Clove from Valorant as the theme. Subsequent stops include Falcomics, Etna Comics, and Riminicomix, culminating in the final at Lucca Comics & Games. The finale will require participants to showcase an original costume inspired by Arcane, the League of Legends TV series. The event at Napoli Comicon will take place from 1:30 pm to 3 pm at the Music Dojo, with pre-registration to be confirmed on the morning of the event.
After the initial stop, the Cosplay Grand Tour will traverse Italy before concluding at Lucca Comics & Games. The tour promises to be an exciting opportunity for cosplayers and fans of Riot Games to showcase their talent and creativity throughout the various festivals.
