Riley Amos started his 2024 season by dominating both the XCC and XCO race, securing a flawless weekend performance. In the U23 men’s race, a group of five riders quickly broke away at the front, including strong contenders Luca Martin and Finn Treudler. On the third lap, Riley Amos took advantage of a mistake by another rider to surge into the lead and establish a gap that no one could close over the remaining two laps.
Bjorn Riley put in a valiant effort to catch up to the race leader in the final stages but finished nine seconds behind Riley Amos in second place. Cube Factory Racing’s Finn Treudler delivered a solid performance, consistently staying near the front throughout the race and crossing the finish line just 20 seconds behind the winner. With another race scheduled for next weekend, Riley Amos is poised to be a formidable contender for competitors to challenge in round two.
