Ridgefield, Camas, and Battle Ground all fall in season-ending regional games in 2A and 4A regions

La Center falls to Cedar Park Christian in baseball regionals, ending their season.

La Center’s season came to an end in the 2A regionals as they lost to Selah 9-4. In their first game, Ridgefield struggled to keep up with Selah and fell behind early on. Despite Deven Savella’s solid performance, going 2 for 3 with a triple and two RBI, and Colton Warren’s impressive showing of 2 for 4 with an RBI, Ridgefield was unable to overcome the deficit and ultimately lost.

Meanwhile, Camas had mixed results in the 4A regionals. In their first game, they secured a narrow victory over Moses Lake thanks to Andrew Miller’s outstanding pitching and hitting performance. Miller threw a one-hit shutout with nine strikeouts and went 2 for 3 from the plate. However, in their second game against Puyallup, Camas struggled to generate any offense and lost by a wide margin of 12-0.

As for Battle Ground, they also faced defeat in the regionals, losing to North Creek by a score of 9-1. Cooper McGowan, Jackson Hotchkiss, and Jayden Sivits each recorded hits for Battle Ground but it wasn’t enough to prevent them from falling behind early on. Despite James Gill driving in the lone run for Battle Ground, they were unable to mount a successful comeback and ultimately lost.
