The winning entries for this year’s Core77 Design Awards Consumer Technology category were the Meta Quest 3, a VR/MR headset and controllers from Meta, and Aware, a device designed by a team from Umeå Institute of Design that alerts runners to cars and bikes approaching from behind. Joining Qin Li, Vice President of Design at fuseproject as Jury Captain for this category were Roger Kellenberger, Youjin Nam, Tingbin Tang, and Dyan Wilberding.
The Consumer Technology category honors consumer software or hardware products for the home or personal use that are screen-based, tech-enabled, or Internet-connected.
