Revolutionizing Mobile Health: Honor’s New Features for Enhanced Visual Health and Deepfake Detection

AI by Honor for safeguarding eyesight and identifying deepfakes in latest features

Honor unveiled two new features at Mobile World Congress Shanghai 2024 that aim to improve users’ visual health and detect video deepfakes. The AI Defocus Eye Protection feature simulates blurring glasses on smart devices to reduce transient myopia caused by extended screen time, while the AI Deepfake Detection tool uses detailed frame-by-frame analysis to identify manipulated digital content in videos.

The AI Defocus Eye Protection technology can reduce transient myopia by up to 75 degrees, protecting ocular health while improving visual clarity. On the other hand, the AI Deepfake Detection tool focuses on detecting deepfakes in videos through detailed frame-by-frame analysis, identifying imperceptible signals like lighting changes or altered eye contact.

Honor explained that the Deepfake Detection tool has been trained on video and image datasets related to online scams, enabling it to quickly identify and analyze manipulated digital content in just three seconds. The company’s focus on incorporating AI into mobile technologies reflects a commitment to innovation and user safety.

Overall, Honor’s new features demonstrate its dedication to providing users with cutting-edge technology that not only enhances their mobile experience but also promotes their overall well-being.
