The upcoming Posidonia gathering in Athens is set to feature a global maritime startup day as one of its main attractions. The Maritime Technology Demo Day, organized by The Captain’s Table and TMV Ventures, will take place on June 4 at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center. During the event, sixteen early-stage startups will showcase their innovative solutions in various verticals, including crew engagement, climate tech, and safety.

Su Yin Anand, co-founder of The Captain’s Table, emphasized the need for change in the industry as generational shifts occur. She highlighted that the technologies presented at Maritime Technology Demo Day have the potential to revolutionize the way people live and work in the maritime sector. Marina Hadjipetaras, general partner and founder of TMV Ventures, underscored the uniqueness of this collaboration between major players in maritime innovation investment, including Flagship Founders, Signal Ventures, and Lomar Labs.

The demo day event is free and open to the public. Attendees can engage directly with startup founders and network with investors, industry leaders and tech enthusiasts.
