INPS to utilize artificial intelligence for matching job supply and demand

The Siisl platform, managed by INPS and operating under the Ministry of Labor, is a powerful tool for job seekers and employment agencies alike. By utilizing Artificial Intelligence, the platform provides personalized job offers that are best suited to individuals participating in the Training and Work Support (Sfl) and Inclusion Allowance (Adi) programs.

Through its AI capabilities, Siisl calculates an “affinity index” for each job offer in relation to an individual’s resume. This simplifies the interaction between users and the platform’s database by indicating the level of compatibility between a resume and a job offer.

Vincenzo Caridi, general director of INPS, explains that the application of AI in Siisl provides citizens with a powerful tool to facilitate their job search process. Future plans involve collaborating with various organizations, such as the Ministry of Labor, Sviluppo Lavoro Italia, and Inapp, to enhance the matching of job offers and training courses. This will be achieved through the use of updated skills maps at national and European levels, such as Atlas and ESCO, and by comparing the skills required by the job market with those covered by training programs.
