The Torrence Health Science Education Center at Kilgore College was recently unveiled during a ceremony that showcased the nearly completed facility. This community college’s first health science education center is named after Billy and Kay Torrence, who made a generous donation to bring this project to life. The center is set to open in July, just in time for the fall semester.
The facility features brand new classrooms and cutting-edge lab facilities designed specifically for health science programs. Additionally, CHRISTUS Good Shepherd’s presence near the existing Emergency Center will be expanded. This expansion will provide students with an excellent opportunity to pursue careers in healthcare and further establish Kilgore College as a leader in health science education.
