Details of the Council of Europe’s Adoption of the Artificial Intelligence Law

The new law, which takes a risk-based approach, will prioritize the protection of the public by implementing limitations and standards to reduce risks and safeguard human rights. It is expected to be signed by the presidents of the European Parliament and the European Council and will be published in the records in the coming days. Once published, it will come into force within 20 days, with instructions being implemented gradually.
