Revolutionizing Browsing: Google’s ‘Listen to This Page’ Feature Boosts Accessibility on Android Devices

Chrome can now read web pages aloud on Android devices

Google has introduced a new feature in the Chrome browser for Android devices that enhances accessibility and improves the browsing experience. The ‘Listen to this page’ feature allows users to listen to web page content in a read-aloud mode, with controls for pausing, rewinding, and advancing the text while listening.

The feature also includes options to adjust playback speed and change the voice type, as well as text highlighting and auto-scrolling options. Users can choose from twelve supported languages, including Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Indonesian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Bengali, and Hindi. Different voice options are available too, each with a distinct tone to enhance the listening experience.
