Revolutionizing Autonomous Vehicle Navigation: ComNav’s M100X GNSS Receiver with Quantum-III SoC Chip

Comnav introduces new GNSS receiver – GPS World

ComNav Technology recently unveiled the M100X GNSS receiver, which features the Quantum-III SoC Chip for full-constellation and multi-frequency capabilities. This state-of-the-art receiver is designed specifically for high-accuracy vehicular positioning and heading applications.

Equipped with GNSS+INS integrated technology, the M100X delivers real-time high-precision positioning, velocity, and heading data, even in challenging environments. It ensures accurate positioning and heading information for various applications, including autonomous mining trucks, intelligent ports, mapping, and autonomous buses. The receiver is designed to maintain signal reception integrity in obstructed environments such as urban canyons, city overpasses, underground garages, tunnels, and parks.

With a data update rate of up to 100Hz, the M100X performs well in dynamic, high-speed environments. Its rapid update capability enables continuous tracking of vehicle positions for reliable computation and immediate navigation information updates. The receiver also responds quickly to changes in vehicle dynamics during travel.

The M100X is built with durability in mind and is made from aluminum alloy with an IP67 rating for water and dustproof protection. Its shock-resistant design allows it to survive a drop from a height of 1 m without damage. The receiver can connect to 4G networks as well as LANs, Bluetooth devices and multiple I/O ports for seamless integration with various systems and networks.

ComNav also offers the Navigation Master software an Android app that allows quick device configuration and remote management of the M100X through Bluetooth connectivity. Additionally, users can access their projects and data from any location through the NaviCloud platform.

In summary, the M100X GNSS receiver is a powerful tool that combines cutting edge technology with robust construction to provide accurate positioning information even in challenging conditions while delivering real time updates at a rapid pace making it suitable for high speed vehicles traveling at high speeds.
