A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on Thursday at a Latham warehouse to celebrate the opening of Launchbox Flexible Warehouse Suites. The warehouse, which had been empty for eight years, was revitalized by the new business.
Local officials believe that this new facility will help retain more businesses in the Capital Region. The Launchbox facility offers various amenities such as meeting rooms, a loading dock, and ensures access at any time of the day or night.
Jeff Mirel of the Rosenblum Companies explained that Launchbox has the capacity to accommodate up to 88 locally-based businesses from various industry sectors. This is particularly beneficial for businesses that are facing growth constraints due to the lack of appropriate or cost-effective workspace.
The new facility aims to provide a supportive environment for businesses looking to establish or expand their presence in the Capital Region. In addition to supporting local businesses, Launchbox could also attract businesses from other states and countries to the area.
According to Mirel, “We are thrilled to be able to offer this flexible space solution that will benefit both established and emerging businesses in the region.” He added, “Our goal is to create an ecosystem where startups and small businesses can thrive and grow.”
