Renovated Venue Ready for IFSC Paraclimbing World Cup in Arco, Italy

Arco, Italy Chosen as Host for Season’s Third and Final Paraclimbing World Cup

The International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) and the Italian Federation (FASI) have announced that the third IFSC Paraclimbing World Cup will be held in Arco, Italy on 27 and 28 September. This event will mark the first competition to be organized in the historic national training center of Team Italy following its renovation, which has been ongoing since last year and is expected to be completed this Summer. Once the renovations are finished, the venue will be able to host athletes and teams throughout the year, with indoor walls available for Boulder, Lead, and Speed disciplines.

The upcoming season will build on the success of 2023, where the IFSC Paraclimbing World Championships in Bern, Switzerland attracted a record-breaking 202 athletes from 25 countries – the highest number of participants ever in a Paraclimbing event. The final event of the season will be the Paraclimbing World Cup Arco 2024, which will take place on 27 and 28 September. In addition to this event, there will also be World Cups held in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA on 7 and 8 May and Innsbruck, Austria on 24 and 25 June. These competitions are sure to attract top climbers from around the world who are eager to showcase their skills and compete for glory.
