Renewable Energy Collaboration in Asia-Pacific: Ocean Infinity and Cyan Renewables Join Forces to Advance Offshore Wind

Ocean Infinity and Cyan Renewables collaborate on technology partnership to enhance offshore wind projects in the Asia-Pacific region.

In the Asia-Pacific region, Ocean Infinity and Cyan Renewables have recently entered into a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on providing offshore geophysical and geotechnical surveys, as well as remotely operated vehicle (ROV) inspections and consultancy services for offshore wind projects. This partnership aims to offer comprehensive marine information services for offshore renewable projects by leveraging Ocean Infinity’s technology-enabled marine data services and Cyan Renewables’ extensive local networks. According to Lee Keng Lin, CEO of Cyan Renewables, this collaboration will contribute to the development of offshore wind and zero-emission shipping in the region.

To support the growth of the offshore wind industry in the Asia-Pacific region, Ocean Infinity’s lean-crewed vessel Armada 7804 will start its commercial projects in the region, focusing on providing geophysical and shallow geotechnical surveys. The vessel is expected to address site investigation needs for offshore renewable energy and oil and gas ventures in the region. Both companies see this collaboration as a step towards furthering offshore wind projects and promoting sustainable practices in the marine industry. With the combination of Ocean Infinity’s advanced marine technology and Cyan Renewables’ regional expertise, they aim to support the growth of offshore wind projects in the Asia-Pacific region. This partnership signifies a commitment to environmentally friendly practices and the development of renewable energy sources in the region.
