Remembering Manchester United Legend Jeff White: A Tribute to the Original ‘Busby Babes’

‘Legendary Busby Babe Whitefoot Passes Away at the Age of 90’

Manchester United player Jeff White passed away at the age of 90. White was one of the original ‘Busby Babes’ and began his career with the Red Devils in 1949 after joining straight from school. He made his league debut at just 16 years old in 1950, and was known for his exceptional passing abilities.

During his eight seasons at Old Trafford under Sir Matt Busby, Whitefoot made 95 appearances and was part of the title-winning teams in 1952 and 1956. After a brief stint at Grimsby Town, he returned to the top flight with Nottingham Forest in 1958, where he made 285 appearances and was part of the FA Cup-winning team in 1959.

Manchester United paid tribute to White, describing him as a “delightfully unassuming character”. They expressed their deep sadness at his passing and acknowledged his special place in club folklore. They wished him to rest in peace.
