Remembering Jennifer Leak: An Actress, Mother, and Long-Time Battle Fighter

Jennifer Leak, the daughter of Lucille Ball’s character in the 1968 film “Yours, Mine and Ours,” passed away at the age of 76 on March 18 at her home in Jupiter, Florida. She had been battling progressive supranuclear palsy, a rare neurological disease, in her final years.

Leak was born in Cardiff, Wales in 1947 and had a successful career in acting, appearing in various soap operas and screen roles. In the mid-1980s, she transitioned to working as a sales agent for a real estate company.

Matheson, her former husband from 1968 to 1971, shared a tribute to Leak on Facebook. He described her as a remarkable woman who was strong, lovely, and incredibly talented. He also extended his condolences to her husband of 47 years, James D’Auria.

Leak is survived by her husband and brother.
