Tyler Reddick secures victory at Talladega in chaotic final moments

After a thrilling finish at Talladega Superspeedway, Tyler Reddick emerged victorious following a multi-car wreck that left Corey LaJoie sliding across the finish line on his side. The incident occurred when leader Michael McDowell attempted to block Brad Keselowski as he made a move to pass, resulting in a crash that involved multiple cars.

Reddick took advantage of the chaos to secure his first win of the season and sixth of his career. Keselowski finished in second place, breaking a 107-race winless streak, while Noah Gragson achieved a career-best third place finish and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. placed fourth.

The victory marked the eighth consecutive different winner at Talladega, highlighting the unpredictability of the track. The race featured an impressive 73 lead changes among 23 drivers, the highest number of lead changes at Talladega since the introduction of the Next Gen car in 2022. The event was slowed by four cautions totaling 21 laps.

Prior to the final moments, Austin Cindric and Joey Logano had emerged as winners of Stage 1 and Stage 2, respectively. The series will next race at Dover on April 28 at 2 p.m. ET on FS1.
