Red Wings Partnership with Bally Sports Detroit and Scripps Sports to Offer Free Access to Final Regular Season Games

TV20 Detroit and Scripps Sports will broadcast the last three Red Wings games simultaneously.

The Detroit Red Wings have joined forces with Scripps Sports and Bally Sports Detroit to offer fans in Southeast Michigan free access to the final three games of the regular season. This partnership will allow over 1.5 million hockey enthusiasts in the area to catch the Red Wings as they make their push for the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The games will be simulcasts of the Bally Sports Detroit feed, featuring Ken Daniels and Mickey Redmond providing expert commentary. This initiative is aimed at expanding the reach of Red Wings’ games and engaging more fans in the Metro Detroit area during the playoff race excitement.

Beyond TV20 (WMYD), these games will also be available on Bally Sports Detroit and through the Bally Sports app. Viewers can watch these games on TV20 as they normally would on Bally Sports Detroit channels, providing multiple options for tuning in.

The schedule for these TV20 simulcasts is as follows: April 13 at 7:00 PM (Toronto), April 15 at 7:00 PM (Montreal), and April 16 at 7:00 PM (Montreal). To enhance fan experience, WMYD will produce pre-game and post-game shows that will air on TV20 Detroit for all three games.

This agreement between Diamond Sports Group, owner of Bally Sports Detroit, Red Wings, and Scripps Sports aims to maximize viewership for Red Wings’ crucial games during their quest for a spot in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
