Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe’s Jonas Koch Takes Home Men’s Win in UCI Gravel World Series Race in Germany

Jonas Koch and Carolin Schiff triumph in Hegau at UCI Gravel World Series

In the second round of the UCI Gravel World Series, held in Germany in 2024, Jonas Koch of Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe and Carolin Schiff of Canyon CLLCTV emerged victorious in the men’s and women’s races respectively. Koch took home the men’s win with a lead of 38 seconds over Daan Soete of Grobbendonk, who had previously won the first German World Series race of the season. Meanwhile, Schiff claimed victory in a close battle with Janine Schneider of VC Singen, Embrace the World, finishing with a one-second lead.

The new gravel race in Singen covered a distance of 136km and featured two 52km laps and one 32km lap, with a total elevation gain of 2710m. The top ten elite men’s results were:
