The Sports Department is pleased to announce the winners of the Spring Sports Athlete of the Year. In the girls division, Maysville’s Bella Van Wey received an impressive 15,957 votes to dominate the competition. John Glenn’s Brayden Snider came in second place with 3,457 votes.
On the boys side, Cambridge’s Bryson Anderson emerged as the winner with 13,715 votes. Coshocton’s Israel Rice finished closely behind with 10,761 votes, while Philo’s Aidan Mahon placed fourth with 6,458 votes.
A total of 34,048 people voted for the boys division, while 24,968 votes were cast for the girls division. The Sports Department would like to thank everyone who participated in the voting process throughout the school year. Congratulations to all athletes who delivered outstanding performances during the spring season.
