Record-Breaking Royal Ascot Set to Host World Pool’s Biggest Days of the Year

World Pool makes a comeback for the entire duration of Royal Ascot

Royal Ascot is set to host the World Pool’s biggest five days of the year from June 18-22. The event, which returns to the prestigious racecourse for the third time, promises to be a thrilling affair with record-breaking turnover and exciting betting action.

Last year’s royal meeting saw several records being broken, including the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes (G1) generating the highest turnover for a single World Pool race at £6.6 million (about $8.39 million). The Saturday fixture from last year still holds the title for the third-highest turnover of any World Pool day at £32.5m (about $42.19 million), following only the Friday and Saturday of Royal Ascot in 2022.

Michael Fitzsimons, executive director of wagering products for the Hong Kong Jockey Club, emphasized the significance of Royal Ascot as five of the biggest days in the global racing calendar and a key showcase for World Pool since its launch in 2019. With a total turnover of £154m (about $195.68 million) from World Pool bet types at Royal Ascot last year, there is no doubt that excitement and anticipation are high for this year’s event.

In addition to the World Pool action, there are also some enticing betting opportunities available through other platforms such as Tote Scoop6 and guaranteed Placepot pots. With an estimated combined pool of £410,000 ($210,265 win fund and £171,801 bonus fund), Tote is offering an enticing Scoop6 pot that will certainly add to the excitement surrounding this prestigious racing event.

Overall, it looks like this year’s Royal Ascot will be another unforgettable experience for racing fans worldwide thanks to its thrilling racing action and exciting betting opportunities through various platforms such as World Pool and Tote Scoop6.
