In 2019, Family Health Medical Services established the annual Health Sciences Award to recognize and support high school seniors in Chautauqua County who are committed to pursuing a degree in public health, health science, nursing or a related field. The three outstanding recipients of this year’s award are Elizabeth Hammond from Chautauqua Lake Central School, Jack Pietro from Fredonia High School, and Nathan Cresanti from Maple Grove Junior/Senior High School.
Each recipient will receive $1,000 towards their college education as a token of appreciation for their hard work and dedication. To be eligible for this prestigious award, applicants must submit a 500-word personal statement, two letters of support and demonstrate a strong commitment to a career in healthcare.
Family Health Medical Services is proud to invest in the future of the health sciences industry by providing financial assistance and recognition to these students. The organization believes that by supporting young individuals who are dedicated to making a difference in the field of healthcare, it can contribute to improving the quality of care provided to patients.
Through its annual Health Sciences Award, Family Health Medical Services aims to encourage and motivate high school seniors to pursue careers in healthcare. Congratulations to Elizabeth, Jack and Nathan for their remarkable achievements and commitment to pursuing a career in healthcare.
