Ogeechee Technical College is hosting a free course on launching a childcare business on April 8, 2024, from 5-7 pm. The course will take place in the Oak Room of the Jack Hill Building on the OTC campus.
As the population in Bulloch County and the surrounding area continues to grow, there is an increasing demand for childcare services. To meet this need, participants will gain valuable insights from experts in the field, including representatives from the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning and other experienced childcare professionals.
The sessions will cover a range of topics, including opening a childcare business, running a program from home, expanding an existing facility, education and job opportunities in Early Childhood Care & Education, and available financial resources. Attendees will also have access to essential resources and strategies for successfully starting their own licensed childcare facility or in-home learning center.
