Ravens Safety Kyle Hamilton Undergoes Surgical Procedure to Address Elbow Issue: Will Miss Mandatory Minicamp, But Anticipated Back in Action by Start of Training Camp

Kyle Hamilton undergoes elbow procedure, anticipated to return for camp

Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton will be missing this week’s mandatory minicamp as he undergoes a surgical procedure to address an elbow issue. According to head coach John Harbaugh, the procedure was necessary to remove loose bodies from Hamilton’s elbow, a process that will require two to three weeks of recovery time. Despite this setback, the team is confident that Hamilton will be back in action for the start of training camp.

Harbaugh expressed optimism about Hamilton’s recovery, stating that the safety will be ready to return to the field once he has healed from the surgical intervention. Hamilton, who earned first-team All-Pro honors in 2023, was a key contributor to the Ravens’ success last season. His impressive performance included 81 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, four interceptions, three sacks, and a forced fumble during the team’s run to the AFC North championship.

Despite missing out on minicamp, Hamilton can now focus on rehabilitating his elbow and getting back to full strength in time for the upcoming season. As a vital part of the team’s defense, Hamilton’s health and recovery will be closely monitored to ensure he can make a successful return to action when training camp begins.
