Rangers’ Corey Seager Sets New Home Run Record Against Diamondbacks

Texas Rangers’ World Series MVP Corey Seager Smashes 8th Home Run in 8-Game Streak

Corey Seager of the Texas Rangers continued his impressive home run streak by hitting his eighth homer in as many games against the Arizona Diamondbacks. The shortstop had been on fire, hitting two-run homers in each game of the series so far.

In the fifth inning, Seager hit a powerful shot just beyond the right-field wall, adding to his impressive performance in the World Series rematch. This was Seager’s 13th home run of the season and his fourth homer in three games. He had hit two home runs in the previous series finale against the Minnesota Twins. Despite missing most of spring training due to offseason surgery for a sports hernia, Seager has shown great strength at the plate.

Seager’s consistent performance has been a valuable asset for the team this season. With 29 RBIs in 51 games, he has been a key player for the Rangers. Only a few players in Rangers history, including José Canseco, Rafael Palmeiro, Josh Hamilton, and Joey Gallo, have achieved a similar feat of hitting at least eight homers in an eight-game span.

The Rangers are currently leading Arizona 3-0 and fans are raving about Seager’s impressive play. It seems like nothing can stop him from breaking out into another home run streak anytime soon!
