Rangers Announce Energy Transfer as First-Ever Jersey Patch Sponsor: A Growing Trend in MLB

Energy Transfer signs on as jersey patch sponsor for the Texas Rangers

The Texas Rangers have announced Energy Transfer as their first jersey patch sponsor in a new multiyear deal. This partnership is part of a growing trend in MLB, with 19 teams now featuring jersey patch deals heading into the upcoming season. These deals are required to have a minimum commitment of three years.

Energy Transfer’s logo will now be featured on a circular patch on the right sleeve of all six Rangers jerseys. The patch will debut at the Rangers’ season opener against the Cubs at Globe Life Field. In addition to the jersey patch sponsorship, Energy Transfer will also have an expanded marketing presence that includes ballpark signage and radio network inventory.

The circle patch will be in Rangers blue on the home jerseys and in white on the road jerseys. This partnership highlights the continued integration of sponsorships in professional sports and the importance of brand visibility for companies like Energy Transfer. As the Rangers kick off their season with their new jersey patch sponsor, fans can expect to see more collaborations between sports teams and corporate partners in the future.
