Costa Mesa is currently in talks with the Raiders regarding the possibility of hosting their 2024 training camp at the Jack Hammett Sports Complex in Southern California. The team is considering moving their training camp from Henderson to Costa Mesa, and the city council will discuss entering into a one-year agreement with the Raiders.

If approved, the deal would see the Raiders pay $165,000 in rent to the city and an additional $600,000 for field improvements at the sports complex. The move would place the Raiders among five NFL teams training within 100 miles of each other, highlighting Southern California as a hub for professional football teams during offseason.

The potential agreement signifies a strategic shift for the Raiders and demonstrates their commitment to exploring new opportunities for their training camps. If approved, practices will be open to the public, providing fans with an opportunity to see their favorite team in action up close.
