Race Weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway: Xfinity and Cup Series Teams Gear Up for Exciting Action

Saturday schedule for NASCAR Cup and Xfinity races at Charlotte Motor Speedway

NASCAR Cup and Xfinity teams will be racing at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Saturday. The Xfinity teams will return to the regular-season schedule after a week off, while the Cup teams will be practicing and qualifying for Sunday’s Coca-Cola 600, one of NASCAR’s premier races.

The Xfinity entry list includes Justin Allgaier, who won the Charlotte Xfinity race last year. He is one of three drivers in the lineup with past Xfinity wins at the 1.5-mile track. Kyle Busch, driving for Richard Childress Racing, is also on the entry list and seeks his tenth win at Charlotte. Ty Gibbs returns to Joe Gibbs Racing as he aims for his second win at the track. Dean Thompson, who will make his series debut with Sam Hunt Racing, is also on the entry list. Chase Elliott returns to Xfinity in the Hendrick Motorsports entry as well.

The NASCAR Cup Series Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway is a significant race weekend for NASCAR Cup teams and drivers. This weekend marks the return of the top three series to the sport’s home track. With partly cloudy skies and a possibility of stray thunderstorms throughout the weekend, fans can expect some exciting racing action at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

On Saturday, May 25th, there will be an Xfinity race starting at 1 p.m., followed by Cup practice from 5-5:50 p.m., and then Cup qualifying from 5:50-7 p.m Eastern time respectively . The races will be broadcast live on FS1 with radio coverage provided by Performance Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio .
